About Me – Jouni Ilonen

I’m Jouni Ilonen – personal trainer, dancer, group fitness instructor, sports massage therapist, and holistic wellness coach.

Dance has been at the heart of my life for over 20 years – from competitive ballroom and ballet to stage performance. For over a decade, I’ve helped people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.


My coaching combines strength, flexibility, rhythm, and joy. Together, we build a body that’s powerful, mobile, and alive – just like a dancer’s physique.

Whether you’re working out at home, at the gym, or anywhere in between, I help you train in a way that supports your body, mind, and lifestyle.


What I Offer

My coaching is for you if you want to:

  • Improve mobility, control, and balance
  •  Train at home, in the gym, or outdoor

All programs are available through Jouni’s Fitness App, featuring:

  •  Structured gym programs
  • Equipment-free home workouts
  • Dance-based rhythm workouts
  •  Mobility and HIIT sessions
  • One-on-one remote or in-person coaching options



My Approach


I believe in smart, purposeful, and compassionately challenging training.

Movement should be empowering, enjoyable, and sustainable.

True results come when training aligns with your life – not the other way around.

To me, holistic well-being goes beyond physical change. It’s about your relationship with your body, your self-image, and your identity.

My coaching provides a safe, supportive space where you can accept yourself fully, strengthen body confidence, and feel connected to who you are – including your sexuality and authentic expression.

Everyone deserves to feel strong, free, and fully themselves – both inside and out.

Professional Education and Specializations


 I am a versatile wellness and fitness professional with extensive training and certifications from leading organizations. My expertise lies in personal training, group fitness instruction, wellness coaching, and dance-based fitness. 

Key Education and Certifications Include:

  • Personal Trainer (Trainer4You, 2020)
  • Wellness, Mental, Strength, and Nutrition Coach (Trainer4You, 2018–2023)
  • Pilates, Yoga, and Group Fitness Instructor Trainings (Trainer4You, 2023–2024)
  • Indoor Cycling Instructor Training (2022) / Erimover 
  • Multiple Zumba®️ and group fitness instructor certifications, including Zumba Gold, Toning, Step, Kids, and Zumbini
  • Dance training from Helsinki Ballet Academy and Finnish National Opera Ballet Academy
  • Additional specialized courses such as SaunaYoga®, Massage Therapy, First Aid, and Leadership in fitness
